Today is my grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary. The "Golden Anniversary". They were married on July 4. Right now they are celebrating in Julian. I am so proud of them for sticking together and being a godly example for the rest of the family. When I look at them I think to myself that they make marriage more than just a status, they have made it a journey. They didn't just stay together because they knew it was right, but because they truly love each other...even today and that is very rare. I've seen subtle reminders of this truth over the past few years. Its been in the way they do things for each other and take care of one another. I love knowing their story and I strive to have my own marriage and love be like theirs. Thank you Nana & Tata for being a light in a dark place. I love you both very much!
